After 6 months of hard work, we are close to completing the implementation of the security system in Amazon’s new Świebodzin logistics center, covering an area of almost 200,000 sqm.
The new Central European center of the largest American online retailer is a huge location, of strategic importance for the company in fulfilling its mission: to deliver smiles anywhere in the world in the most fluid and user-friendly way. Therefore, the center needed integrated security solutions for access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to ensure that day-to-day operations run safely.
For the video surveillance system, we used Bosch cameras and Honeywell motion detectors, and for the access control and alarm system, we used Lenel equipment, resulting in the most efficient way to record, track, and manage activity and traffic within the center.
The tests carried out were a real success, demonstrating once again the work quality and dedication of the KSS team in implementing a complex security system. Given the scale of the project and the high standard of the initial requirements, there were inherent challenges, mostly due to the high volume of work in a very short timeframe, but the team worked hard to deliver according to the requirements and within the assumed timeframe.
